We recognize that the past year has presented substantial challenges for many in the CROI research community. In consideration of presenting authors who are unable to travel to CROI because of visa restrictions or US federal government travel limitations, CROI will offer an option to present their oral abstract, themed discussion, or poster virtually. Presenting authors who do not fall into either of these 2 categories are expected to present their work in person or designate an alternate presenter, consistent with the commitment affirmed during abstract submission.

Government Employees and Authors Impacted by Visa Restrictions: Virtual Presentation Requirements

  • Presenter must be registered as a virtual attendee at CROI
  • Poster Presenters:
  • Required: Upload an ePoster for attendees to access in the Conference App.  Instructions were sent by email and on the Poster Presentation Guidelines webpage
  • Required: The presenter must be available to respond to questions through the Conference App. This is crucial to ensuring meaningful deliberation, debate, and discussion around the work and its implications for the field remain a priority
  • Oral Abstract Presenters:
