A message was sent to on November 2, 2022, to authors on abstracts related to SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 or monkeypox virus, reconfirming that their abstracts will be reviewed after the January 5, 2023, submission deadline (submission reopens December 1, 2022). These abstracts have not been reviewed and the notice was not a comment on whether the abstracts will be accepted. The notice advised authors that if they wish to have it considered for presentation, the submitter must log in (on or after December 1), update the abstract (if they wish), confirm that it has not been presented, published or submitted for publication, and submit the abstract on or before January 5, 2023. This notification was also stated in a CROI Website News Announcement SARS-CoV-2 and Monkeypox Virus Abstract Submission.
