As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, the CROI Program Committee is discussing innovative ways to provide this forum for researchers to translate their research findings into tangible progress against the HIV pandemic. CROI 2021 will include a virtual option, which will allow participation and networking for those who attend remotely. COVID-19 abstracts may be submitted to CROI in the areas of basic science, clinical research, and epidemiology and prevention, among others.

Decisions over the coming months on the format of CROI 2021 will have an impact on general and late-breaking abstract submission deadlines and on registration for the conference. We will post updates on the CROI website as they become available.
