The CROI 2017 will be held at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. The Convention Center is located right in the heart of downtown Seattle, within easy walking distance of the city’s best shops, sights, hotels, and restaurants.
The Washington State Convention Center is steps away from the commuter light rail, the S. Lake Union Streetcar, and the Seattle Center Monorail, providing transit to the majority of downtown Seattle. It is blocks away from the famous Pike Place Market and a short rail ride to Pioneer Square or Century link field. It is a 5-minute walk to the Westlake Center, a 4-story, glass-enclosed shopping mall, which contains a food court, clothing stores, personal services, and shopping.
Seattle attractions provide visitors with a wide array of monuments and landmarks to choose from. Located close to the convention center and hotels, the Seattle Center is home to 4 museums, 11 theaters, 5 gardens, 6 fountains, and more than a dozen restaurants. It also holds big name attractions, like the Experience Music Project (EMP) museum, the Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and possibly the most famous Seattle landmark, the Space Needle.
If food is on your mind, look no further than Pike Place Public Market, located just minutes from the Washington State Convention Center. Open year round, this iconic attraction is filled with tasty treats and local crafts and haberdasheries. Fresh fruits and vegetables, fantastic eateries serving prepared dishes, local crafts, handmade floral bouquets, and jewelry are just some of the items that you’ll see at Pike Place.
The Washington State Convention Center is located approximately 20 minutes via taxi from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. There is also train access that takes you to downtown Seattle next to the Convention Center.
The Washington State Convention Center operates 2 covered parking garages that adjoin each other and the Convention Center. Parking is not complimentary and parking fees are accessed at the front of the Center.
