Three annual scholarships and awards are offered. The awards will help cover the costs of attending CROI.

A limited number of scholarships to attend CROI will be awarded to community research, treatment, and prevention educators who have an established commitment to expanding research literacy in their communities by sharing their knowledge and experience. Applications for the Community Educator Scholarship do not require abstract submission; however, applications must be submitted with a letter of recommendation.
A limited number of scholarships to attend CROI will be awarded to researchers and clinicians who come from developing countries, are working in the area of AIDS research, and would be unable to participate in CROI without financial support. International Investigator Scholarship recipients must be involved in or have plans to establish international collaborations and be a presenting author on an accepted abstract.
A limited number of scholarships to attend CROI will be awarded to fellows and students in the fields of HIV science and medicine who are presenting authors on accepted abstracts.
